The three modes of engagement are:

• MENTAL is thinking in the form of sharing in story. Stories are where we design our first interaction with reality. Where we create meaning, structure, and orientation around what we experience.
• EMOTIONAL is planning in the form of navigating relationships. Relationships are where we feel and make judgments. Where our stories meet engagement, resistance, and alignment with others.
• PHYSICAL is acting in the form of making connections. Connections are where we develop and sustain our interaction with reality. Where relationships take shape over time, reinforcing or reshaping how we engage with the world.
