Being indicated is when I know what to do.
Before I know why.
The explanation is missing.
The story hasn’t caught up.
The data is incomplete.
The direction is clear.
That’s indication.
Not a preference.
Not a desire.
Not a strategy.
Clarity.
Clarity of what is next.
Indication doesn’t ask permission.
It doesn’t check if I’m ready.
It doesn’t arrive with footnotes or forecasts.
It shows up when I’m still confused
but somehow already moving.
That’s the paradox.
Knowing what to do
and knowing I don’t know why.
Sometimes the “why” never arrives.
Sometimes it arrives only after I’ve followed through.
Either way, why is above my pay grade.
Another story I made up.
If I do the footwork, theboss always provides.
theboss doesn’t provide explanations.
theboss provides direction.
That’s morthanenuf.
That’s good enuf.
