Misdiagnosed

My most common failure is misdiagnosis.

I think I see the problem.

When what I am observing is a symptom.

A signal.

A reaction.

An echo.

I name it.

Frame it.

Try to fix it.

Fixing symptoms doesn’t change what caused it.

It quiets the noise

Or amplifies it.

My most common failure is misdiagnosis.

I call it urgency,

when it’s uncertainty.

I call it resistance,

when it’s misalignment.

I call it laziness,

when it’s lack of clarity.

I frame symptoms as problems.

I turn misalignment into something to fix

instead of something to orient to.

Fixing makes me feel useful.

Orientation can feel slow.

Orientation is what was indicated.

The truth isn’t hiding.

It’s waiting.

For me to orient

to what’s here.
