The work feels less visible.
More stuff with fewer artifacts.
Less to point at.
I’m producing less with my own hands.
Outsourcing more.
Moving more through decisions,
judgment,
timing,
coordination.
That has exposed something to me.
I like having something to point at.
A draft.
A deck.
A deliverable.
Something visible that lets me feel the work.
Now the weight is in the call.
The sequence.
The handoff.
The interaction.
There is less to point at.
More to feel.
More to sense in the room.
In the response.
In the movement.
In what changed.
What I did or didn’t do.
That’s what makes this easier to miss.
