Energy is not neutral.

It magnifies.

Add more people to a confused system,

confusion scales.

Add more strategy to an unaligned team,

friction scales.

Expansion is a force multiplier.

It multiplies whatever is already there.

If the direction is clear, energy compounds.

If the direction is foggy, energy amplifies the fog.

I’ve made this mistake.

More meetings.

More urgency.

More tools.

When I scale volume and

our energy spreads sideways,

priorities compete.

Language drifts.

Standards loosen.

People defend their corner.

It doesn’t look like chaos at first.

It looks busy.

Busyness without direction is turbulence.

You feel it in the room.

Shorter tempers.

Longer explanations.

Work that takes longer to land.

We can make almost anything bigger.

The question is whether it is coherent.

Expansion is powerful.

When I multiply in the face of confusion,

confusion wins.

Energy doesn’t solve misalignment.

It exposes it.
