I can stay in motion for a long time.
Answering.
Adjusting.
Organizing.
Getting things done.
Motion feels productive.
It gives me proof that I am participating.
It also keeps me from having to ask
whether any of it matters.
That question slows me down.
I prefer momentum.
Momentum feels like progress
even when I am moving without direction.
That is how I end up doing more
and contributing less.
My effort is real.
My activity is real.
Meaning is what gives that movement orientation.
A better question:
What is my intended impact?
That question asks more of my motion.
It asks where it is going.
Who it is serving.
What is it producing.
Motion can move anything.
Meaning helps me move what matters
to me.
