I’ve noticed something else.

Pronouns do more than describe identity.

They reveal orientation.

They quietly tell the story we’re living inside.

Some pronouns critique.

Some relate.

Some connect.

Most of us use them without noticing the position they put us in.

One judges behavior.

One recognizes relationship.
