Knowledge used to be rare.
It had to be earned.
Transmitted from a guide.
That made it sacred.
It still is.
Now, knowledge is everywhere.
Accessible.
Abundant.
Copy-pasteable.
That doesn’t make it useless.
It makes it less earned.
I think it’s possible we lost more than we gained.
Knowledge is the foundation.
Now we have access to huge foundations.
A foundation is a start.
It’s what understanding is built on.
It’s what application depends on.
It’s the floor, not the ceiling.
The danger of abundance
is inflation.
We confuse the ability to recall something
with the ability to live it.
We confuse exposure
with integration.
We confuse search results
with wisdom.
Knowledge is still needed.
Still powerful.
Still worth collecting.
Only if we’re honest with the price we paid for it.
Access isn’t transformation.
Knowing isn’t becoming.
