It should feel like progress.

Sometimes it does.

More documents.

More messages.

More movement.

Less clarity.

The old equation was simple.

More work meant more value.

That equation broke.

Now more work means more noise.

The system doesn’t need more from me.

It needs better from me.

Better decisions.

Better sequence.

Better restraint.

Better questions.

Like, am I treading water, or swimming?

I’ve tried to outwork the confusion.

Push harder.

Add more.

Stay busy enough to feel productive.

It doesn’t fix it.

The problem isn’t effort.

Its direction.

Or lack of it.

Work isn’t working anymore.
