Proximity is nearness
in place, time, order, occurrence, or relation.
It’s closeness.
Closeness isn’t always comfortable,
but it’s where work happens.
Where we don’t get closer to the task
but closer to ourselves and each other.
Proximity in closeness can set off
survival thinking.
That’s proof we’re stepping into something real.
The challenge isn’t avoiding that feeling.
It’s thanking it for showing up
and then choosing to engage anyway.
When we do, the work stops feeling like work,
and the effort transforms into something deeper.
Where in your relationships is discomfort signaling
an invitation to go deep?
