A result is not a verdict.
It’s a guide.
It tells me what happened,
not what should have happened.
It reveals alignment
or the lack of it.
It reflects my priorities,
my process,
my assumptions,
and sometimes my blind spots.
I can’t control the outcome.
I can control my relationship with it.
I can resent it.
Ignore it.
Spin it.
I can learn from it.
The result doesn’t care.
It shows up
to shape me.
Result is feedback.
Feedback is the raw material of growth.
I find it helpful to think of a result as a signal.
A guide.
It won’t move me.
It will point.
If I’m willing to look.
